Senate Bill 787 will change federal jurisdiction over "navigable" water, to give the federal government control over all water everwhere, in municiple reservoirs, and on private lands, and in private wells. This bill ignores state water law authority and the Fifth Amendment.of the U.S. Constitution,. Learn more at http://sovereignty.net

A condensation of the June 18 hearing by the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee that exposes how S787 will expand governmental power over every square inch of land where water may fall, flow, or pond. Produced by Sovereignty International, Inc. (http://sovereignty.net)

Inhofe Says Democrats Water Bill Biggest Bureaucratic Power Grab in a Generation

WASHINGTON, D.C. -U.S. Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, in a YouTube video release today, warned that passage of legislation scheduled to be considered before the EPW Committee would have huge implications on rural America. In the video, Senator Inhofe called the bill the biggest bureaucratic power grab in a generation. The little-talked about bill, the Clean Water Restoration Act (S. 787), sponsored by Senator Feingold, would seek to extend the scope and reach of federal water jurisdiction beyond anything that ever existed under the Clean Water Act.
